Excellent! Before I was suffering the effects of my bike not fitting me and I was in a fair amount of discomfort. However, following the bike fit the pain has been completely reduced, I now feel far more comfortable and in control of my bike. Overall, making me faster and more aero out on the roads. I would recommend Romain services to anyone, it has been a complete game changer
Cullan LLoyd06/06/2024Romain is just excellent. He is very knowledgeable and shares that knowledge with you, and he is very easy to work with. The process he uses is 'empirical' e.g. lets look at the saddle height, how does it feel now. Let's raise it a bit, how does that feel. OK. Now let's lower it a bit, how does that feel and so on. At each stage he is observing and taking video of your riding position so you can see and compare before/after views. Comparing Romain's bikefit with a Retul Fit is just chalk and cheese. I'm not sure why I ever bothered having a Retul Fit? I highly recommend Romain and would urge you to visit him if you live anywhere near the Swindon area.
Fred Thomas06/05/2024Met Romain by accident in the Swindon bike shop. In there as I had issues with shoulder pain while out on the bike. He suggested I had a bike fit which I happily booked with him (I’d never thought about having before). So glad I did, found Romain to be very professional and knowledgeable. Very thorough over a couple of hours. Lots of measurements taken and recommended new bars and stem. Got these and went back for another fitting to double check the fitting. 1st class service and have no hesitation in recommending Romain and Get A Bike Fit.
Chris Beadel28/04/2024I booked in for a basic bike fit. This was my first bike fit and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The booking process was straightforward and I felt as though my needs were being addressed rather than just being another customer. The actual fitting takes place above Swindon Cycles and was thorough, even for the basic fitting option. We went through goals, flexibility testing and the three contact points on the bike. Romain put together before and after videos and explained why the pain and discomfort I was feeling was happening and how to address it. We looked at shoe / foot comfort and cleat positioning. I didn’t think my own set up was too bad but after the fitting I could see how far off I had been. Saddle positioning was addressed and this has made a massive impact on comfort levels, Romain explained the window of comfort is quite small so having someone set this up and experiment with different settings was very helpful. Finally handlebar adjustment was worked through and again even the slightest tweak made massive differences in comfort levels. I rode to and from the fitting and riding home was a dream, the bike felt so comfortable, effortless in a way but feeling like you can get more power down. To summarise I found the whole experience really useful and Romain was a great guide. Highly recommended.
Martin Joyce12/04/2024I couldn’t recommend Romain enough. I was experiencing long-term pains in my lower back and right shoulder when cycling, usually from 20 miles onwards. I thought there was no hope to fix this, until I came across Romain and his expertise! After having two sessions with Romain, I now cycle pain free. Romain is extremely professional, delves into every single detail possible and above all, genuinely cares about providing a solution. He also adds the personal touch by making great coffee! I look forward to returning to him in the near future when I wish to have a new bike set up. Thank you again Romain!

This fit covered exactly what I wanted and was a very pleasant experience. Romain is very knowledgeable and I would thoroughly recommend his services. He works above a bike shop, but is totally independent from them, so will not try and sell you anything unnecessary.
Peter Denham19/11/2023I cannot recommend Romain and Get A Bike Fit Enough. After many years of discomfort and unsuccessful bikefits Romain nailed it on the first visit. I went for the the full comprehensive service and so glad I did. Not only was I in the wrong size shoes but my bike and bars were way out of range. Rather than feeling like I'm sitting 'on' the bike, I now feel more like I'm sitting 'within' the bike. It's as if the bike is just an extension of me. So much more connected and responsive. The cockpit feels tight and sharp without being cramped and my overall position feels wonderful. The new bars are an absolute revelation (as are shorter cranks!). All these years riding on the wrong size in discomfort - Gone in a day. Thank you for your bike wizardry Romain. I learned so much.

K R21/09/202315 years on a wrong sized bike. “Get a bike fit” did their magic, a few adjustments and the day after I was 10% faster, rode longer and felt better. So well worth doing. I took the full 5 hr test which was comprehensive to say the least but highly enjoyable, Romain knows his stuff and I can’t see any downsides so would more than highly recommend them.
